SoBRO: South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation

On May 19, New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera will speak at SoBRO's South Bronx Leadership Forum. Senator Rivera was born in Puerto Rico and came to New York in the 1990s to enroll in a doctoral program in political science. He was elected in November 2010 to represent New York Senate District 33, which includes neighborhoods in the Northwest Bronx.
