SoBRO: South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation

On Thursday, December 3rd, 2009, South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (SoBRO) will host their 37th Annual Gala Awards Dinner at The Grand Hyatt in New York City at 6:00pm. This special event will be attended by over 500 guests from the business, banking, real estate, media and government sectors who support economic opportunity in the South Bronx community. For over three decades, SoBRO has worked to improve the quality of life and economic opportunity in the South Bronx community through its innovative programs in affordable housing construction, workforce development, adult and youth education, small business assistance and more recently, health literacy and outreach. A 501(c)(3) non-profit since 1972, SoBRO works hard to address the pressing needs of the clients who walk through our doors with commitment and excellence. Building a better Bronx continues to be our mission and inspiration.
