Help SoBRO Students Win a Grant to Improve their Local Park!
IN EARLY 2009,
a group of students at PS/MS 3 in the Tremont section of the Bronx decided that they wanted to transform their dilapidated local park into a public space their community could enjoy and be proud of. The students, participants in SoBRO's Community Justice Project, set about collecting signatures, developing their improvement proposals, and trying to develop support for their plan.
NOW YOU CAN HELP THEM TO GET THE FUNDING NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THEIR COMMUNITY!
